Abstract:
Objective To compare the application effect of orthopedic and rehabilitation of anterior fixation and posterior fixation in the treatment of diabetic patients complicated with spinal tuberculosis.
Methods From May 2013 to October 2014, a total of 82 cases of diabetes and smear positive tuberculosis in our hospital were selected, who were administered diet control, exercise therapy and medication, and 42 cases were treated with everyday therapy as the observation group, 40 cases were treated with intermittent treatment as the control group, the glycemic control, negative sputum bacillus and tuberculosis absorption data of two groups were compared, respectively.
Results Three months after treatment, the fasting plasma glucose and 2 h postprandial glucose of two groups were compared, with no significant differences (t = 1.00, 0.41; P all > 0.05); 6 months after treatment, the fasting plasma glucose and 2h postprandial glucose of two groups were compared, with no significant differences (t = 0.79, 0.53; P all > 0.05); 2, 3 and 6 months after treatment, the negative sputum bacillus rates of observation group were 73.8%, 90.5% and 97.6%, while the control group were 65.0%, 72.5% and 80.0%, respetively. The negative sputum bacillus rates of observation group after 3 and 6 months of treatment were significantly higher than those of the control group, with significant differences (χ2 = 4.43, 4.83; P all < 0.05); the tuberculosis markedly absorption of observation group after 6 months of treatment was 88.1%, significantly higher than that of the control group (70.0%), with significant difference (χ2 = 4.08, P < 0.05).
Conclusions Everyday therapy in the patients with diabetes and smear positive pulmonary tuberculosis has better effect, which would be able to promote sputum negative absorption rate and tuberculosis, and could be taken as highly effective drug treatment programs.
